As a Brazilian immigrant and queer woman of color, I use a social justice-focused approach to guide clients in their healing work. My specialties include working with Black, Indigenous, Latin American, and Asian clients, LGBTQ+ clients, immigrants, and people with mixed backgrounds. Together we can work on the impact of intergenerational trauma on family dynamics, challenges you may face with racism, sexism, homophobia, among others, and taking steps towards a more grounded, connected, and vibrant life. I am a great match for clients looking to talk openly, express their feelings, free their creativity, take risks, broaden their strengths, change pesky patterns, and focus on family, cultural, and childhood experiences to learn about how the past shapes their current life. With time our work will progress from talking about your life story, problems, and goals to more precise guidance on transforming negative beliefs, narratives, and patterns into life and connection-affirming beliefs and practices. I believe that with attention and care, each of us can heal from our hurts, cultivate deep relationships, and lead significant changes in the world. I look forward to meeting you.
