Edith González Flores is a mental health therapist with 15+ years of experience in the field. Her work is grounded in social justice and sustains an intersectional framework. Her blend of lived experience and professional insights promote personal change and community healing.
She received clinical training at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and has an Undergraduate degree from New York University. Her clinical approach integrates trauma modalities such as EMDR, mindfulness-based practices, and culturally responsive care that honor patient’s life stories.
Edith works from a relational and strength-based lens, ensuring that treatment is collaborative, culturally attuned, and grounded in safety and empowerment.
