In our work together, I will collaborate with you to examine, feel through, and transform painful experiences so you can create the life you want to live. As a queer South Asian American woman, I am attuned to the complexity of navigating differences in culture, race, gender, sexuality, class, politics, and more in families and relationships. I use an intersectional feminist and anti-oppressive framework in my work with individuals and couples navigating complex trauma, relational conflict, identity, life transitions, and more. I am a relational, somatic therapist and draw upon a range of modalities like mindfulness, family systems, and psychodynamic therapy in session. I value the connection between the mind, body, and spirit and will incorporate trauma-responsive healing approaches into our work when appropriate.
