As James Baldwin said “Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced,” My approach to therapy is focusing on deepening my client’s connection to themselves. I have experience working with QT/BIPOC individuals. I see therapy as collaborative with one another because folks I see are experts of their own lives. Therapy is an opportunity to examine, dismantle, and heal some of the damage caused by oppressive systems. I am excited to work with folks who are practicing boundaries, addressing trauma, and finding their purpose. Clients have described my style as compassionate, direct, humorous, and resourceful. MEND practice uses a feminist and anti-oppression framework to help people address and heal from trauma we face in our everyday lives.
