I approach mental health wellness through a lens of post-colonialism, healing justice and transformative justice. This basically means that I think it is integral to situate our wellness within the context of the multiple systems that we exist in, consider both collective and individual pathways toward healing, and to believe in every person's ability to transform and build a life of abundance for self and for others. The interventions I primarily utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and somatic trauma processing. Through these interventions, I stress the mind-body-spirit connection, and integrate mindfulness strategies throughout all of the work that we do.
